Forks Trip Update!!
Periodically and until the countdown gets closer, I will be updating the blog about my upcoming trip to Forks, WA. April 2011-Myself and my good friend (who is also my traveling buddy :o) ) are traveling up to the town made famous in Stephanie Meyer's book Twilight. Say what you will, but we have both been fans of the book series long before it became a movie franchise. And we are so excited to head up there, and hit all the spots mentioned in the book. Of course we are going to have to do it in style via a Volvo sedan just like the one Edward drives, and that is only the beginning. I plan on documenting the whole trip with both photos and video courtesy of my Flip camcorder. So just be on the lookout for future updates and who knows we may even run into a vampire or werewolf while we're there.
Gorgeous Messenger Bag
I am an extreme night owl, so here's just a random post. I love the bag that Amanda Seyfried carries in the movie Letters to Juliet so awhile ago I did some digging and found who designs/makes the bag. It is the Small School Bag in Tribe Leather from the Canadian-based store Roots. It retails for around $278. The bag has a definite vintage-y vibe to it, which I happen to love. I've heard through the grapevine that Amanda's bag in the movie has silver buckles, but the ones sold in the stores have gold ones. Regardless, the bag is fantastic and a perfect addition to any purse/bag collection!

I Love Rock Shows!
I'm not sure that I would consider them a "guilty pleasure" but this past Sunday I went to see 30 Seconds to Mars with a good friend. I have to say that I've seen Jared on TV and in his music videos, but seeing him in person is a whole other story. He rocks out just as hard as other bands I've seen, and interacts with the crowd way more. He invited a large group of random fans, from the crowd, up on stage to sing "Kings and Queens." I know other bands interact with the crowd too, but I don't remember any that did to this extent. He is 'Hot' in person too!
The show took place at Club Zoo, and I was surprised by the variety of ages present. From the teenyboppers to late thirtysomething adults, they were all there to rock out to 30 Seconds. I got some awesome photos from the show and some video footage of "Closer to the Edge."
All in all, it was a great show and hopefully, they will tour through the 'burgh again. In the meantime, U2 is coming to the 'burgh to perform the last show of their upcoming tour. I can not wait until July 2011!!! That is gonna be a fantastic concert. That's all for now, xoxo!
